Studio Herron // Blooming Leaf Knit Throw Blanket Textile
The Blooming Leaf Throw is a nod to Studio Herron’s roots, and the roots of pre-industrialized New England overshot coverlets. These were bed coverings that were woven by women, often immigrants new to the America, weaving in communities together, dividing the labor and sharing looms and materials as a way to create income and economy.
The Blooming Leaf Throw is knitted with 100% upcycled and recycled materials. WIth a heavier weight and softer hand than woven throws, the drape and feel is quite cozy and comforting.
