Each June, we collectively celebrate Pride Month. It’s a time to shine a bit more brightly as we dance under the banner of Love to the drumbeat of liberation. It’s a good vibe!
Our care box this month includes items entirely produced by queer-led brands. As you dip in, remember that Stonewall was a riot. Instead of shrinking or dulling ourselves to make others more comfortable, let’s be our most selves to honor that rebellious and riotous spirit of our queer ancestors.

H is for Love, founded by clean living expert Bee Simonds, is one of the most luxurious skincare brands out there. Each product uses the highest quality ingredients and is certifiably good for you and the planet. Their commitment to integrity means that from sourcing to marketing, every choice is wholly intentional.
Their lip conditioner is no exception. Formulated with only pure and natural ingredients, it contains Palmarosa, an oil known for its rejuvinating qualities. We advocate for everyone to have at least one super luxurious lip balm at their fingertips and this one is the leader of the pack.
It’s also a multi-tasker! Use it to soften cuticles or as a nourishing under eye cream.
The founders of Alder New York are old-time friends who’ve acted as creative parters for years. Nina Zilka and David J. Krause met when they were both students at the famed Pratt Institute and later founded a fashion brand together. Luckily for those of us into non-gendered, stylish and luxurious skincare, they switched focus and launched Alder New York in 2016.
Everything they make is vegan and cruelty-free, locally manufactured and ethically made. We love how effective their products are and the way they look hip on our shelves and feel incredible on our skin.
It’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite tea from Briana Thornton’s Aesthete Tea. You might remember that we featured their Holy Basil blend in our inaugural care box. Each of their tea blends are created by Briana’s herbalist mother, Maggie.
Instead of trying to pick the ‘best one’ (impossible, can’t do it, they’re all the best), we think about which is perfect for this moment.
Summer Nights is a lovely cup of hot tea to make for cooler evenings when you want to curl up with a blanket. But it’s ideal for summer because of the way it chills into a delightfully pink and delicious iced tea.
